It's hard to express how grateful I am to have found Alexios. I had the unusual challenge of trying to find an experienced teacher who could help me pursue advanced guitar technique (being a formal music school student myself), AND be able to teach new players, like my son who was ten years old when he started studying with Alexios. Alexios is just the rarest gem. He's a fantastically talented player with a breadth unusual for most guitarists. He is patient, measured, and wise. The best music schools in the country would be lucky to have him as a teacher, and yet it's our good fortune he's right here in the Denver/Boulder area. 

Our family really cannot overstate our affection for Alexios: he is incomparable as a teacher, especially as a teacher who is also a professional musician!
Frankly, you have to spend time with Alexios to appreciate his level of presence, patience, and authentic enthusiasm for his students' abilities and progress.  His professionalism is old-world and his character is impeccable.

Alexios is by far the best guitarist and teacher I have ever seen. I have been working with him for several years now and my skills are vastly improving. I highly recommend Alexios!
